Possible risks of lower eyelid surgery

As with any surgical procedure, complications can occur.

In the case of eyelid surgery the risks are very slight. By being fully informed of your medical condition (and medical history), medicine use and allergies, we can provide expert personal advice and ensure that your recovery is as swift and complete as possible.

Possible complications include allergic reaction to anaesthetics or plasters. Despite the use of sterile techniques, it is also possible for infection to occur. However, the chance of this happening is very small.
