Welcome to VandenBroecke Kliniek
My name is Duco van den Broecke and I have been practising as a plastic surgeon since 2004. I trained trained at Reinier de Graaf and at the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU). For the first 5 years after I qualified, I worked with a team of other plastic surgeons at the Reinier de Graaf hospitals in Delft ad Voorburg.
For the last 5 years I have been working at the Diaconessenhuis hospital in Leiden, now known as Alrijne Zorggroep since its recent merger with the Rijnland Hospital. I also spent some time working at the De Rembrandt Kliniek in Leiden
My philosophy, which is set out below, explains how VandenBroecke Kliniek differs from other clinics.

Plastic surgery is my passion. It is a broad and interesting area of specialisation that is always evolving. I firmly believe that quality is achieved through specialisation. Plastic surgery is a broad and exciting field. It is impossible to excel in all procedures. As a perfectionist I want to achieve the best possible result for everyone. I also want to provide the best possible service in a pleasant atmosphere.
Having seen varying results of treatment in practice, we are aware that eyelid surgery is not a simple procedure. Plastic surgeons are the only medical specialists trained to perform eyelid surgery. At VandenBroecke Kliniek we specialise entirely in eyelid surgery, so we are able to guarantee quality when making a diagnosis, preparing a treatment plan, performing the right procedure for your facial contours and skin quality, and providing appropriate follow-up care.
