I completed my training to become a plastic surgeon at the Medical Center Leeuwarden, University Medical Center Groningen, and partly at the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital in Amsterdam. My expertise lies primarily in peri-orbital (around the eye) and facial surgery. This encompasses everything I find most rewarding about my profession: anatomy, attention to detail, and personalized treatment. I successfully passed the European exam for plastic surgery, earning me the title of EBOPRAS fellow (European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons).
