I am Max Madu. I trained as a plastic surgeon at Amsterdam UMC and later specialized in reconstructive surgery during a fellowship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth. There, I gained extensive experience in reconstructing the face and neck region, as well as in reconstructive procedures of the breast, chest, abdomen, and limbs. I currently work primarily at UMC Utrecht as a reconstructive plastic surgeon. In 2018, I also earned my PhD on the surgical treatment of melanoma, an aggressive form of skin cancer. Additionally, I am a fellow of EBOPRAS (European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery) and a member of the Dutch Society of Plastic Surgery (NVPC).

Reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery share many similarities. Both use the same fundamental principles to reposition or enhance tissue, and both operate on the same areas of the body. I believe they complement each other very well.

At VandenBroecke Kliniek, I focus exclusively on eyelid surgery. I consider it essential that your consultation addresses your wishes and expectations in detail. I also believe that a comfortable atmosphere during the consultation is very important, so that you feel completely at ease. Together, we will create a plan, and I will explain it to you as clearly as possible.

I look forward to seeing you at a consultation.

Kind regards,
